NutriKit Play and learn how to eat well are life-size images of foods and beverages with serving sizes and nutrition information on the reverse side of each image. It is ideal for dietitians, health professionals, teachers, and families for easy and fun nutrition teaching ages 5 and up.
The Kit includes:
• 154 life-size images of foods and beverages
• More than 50 life-size teaspoons of sugar, oil and butter to teach free sugar and fat content
• Handbook
• Flannel cloth (50 x 35.4 inches) with a plate that can be displayed on a wall. Images can be attached and detached to and from the fabric for group sessions
• Canvas (23.6 x31.5 inches) with the same food group proportions suggested by the 2019 Canada’s Food Guide (only for sales in Canada).

The source of information, serving sizes, and nutrient values are, the USDA Food Composition Database (now FoodData Central) and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The Canadian Nutrient Files primary information source is also USDA.
